“Since I was a little kid, I remember tasting the fresh bread done by my grandmother Maria da Graça Videira soaked in our distinct, smooth and unique olive oil” - Luís Monteiro
Our Olive trees are cultivated across the Douro region landscapes side by side to our vides. The harvest takes place during the Autumn when the olives are at the peak of ripeness.
the harvest
Harvesting is always done manually, and our family always gathers to carefully pick the olives from the trees. The olives are then transported to a processing unit where they are cleaned and washed before the pressing begins that will separate the oil that will then be later the incredibly smooth and fruity Quinta do Beijo olive oil.
