Quinta do Beijo Premium Red 2019

Quinta do Beijo Red Reserve 2019 is a very special wine for us, preserving the century-old tradition of winemaking in our estate’s traditional granite lagares.

Made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), the grapes come from old vines of approximately 80 years old in the Cima Corgo sub-region.

Fermentation takes place naturally in granite lagares using traditional foot treading, followed by 12 months of ageing in new and used French oak barrels.

On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of wild berries, strawberry and cherry, complemented by spicy notes of vanilla and subtle oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured and complex, with notes of chocolate, well-defined tannins and a long, persistent finish.
